We will step outside of the walls of the church…

SERMON THEME

Pastor Richard continues with his message about church reimagined. Church reimagined is doing church differently than we have. We are committed to the first century model of going out to where people are and demonstrating the love of Jesus, tangibly. We are getting out of the building and partnering with God to bring great joy into our cities. We pray that we use our gifts and talents given to us by God to help others experience God’s grace.

SCRIPTURES

Mark 12:41-44; Matthew 6:21; Hebrews 7:8; Matt 6:33; Mark 16:20; Acts 19; Acts 8:1-8;

Romans 12:4-6; 1 Peter 4:10

*not an exhaustive list

Discuss and Reflect

  • Based upon 1 Peter 4:10 and Romans 12:4-6 what is the gift God gave to you that allows you to minister your part of God’s multifaceted Grace to others?

    •   Describe how you could use that gift to minister to those inside the body and to those who don't know Christ yet.

  • Explain what you believe God is prompting you to do now that you understand He chose you to be the one who ministers His grace to others.

PRAYER POINT / DECLARATION

We decree that the Lord is blessing the church in California with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places,

2.      Do you identify with the priest? Do you say to yourself, “I wish I had time to help? I see the need but don’t have the time.

3.      Do you identify with the Samaritan? You want to help. You have made the decision not to miss the opportunity to serve others.

4.      Have you ever thought about the answer to the lawyer’s question – “What must I do to inherit eternal life?” What, if any, new insights did you gain from reading Luke 10:27-36?

5.      Ask yourself what it might mean to answer the question-- “Will you leave the comfort of the boat to step into the storm of injustice?”

6.      What will you do now?

    • Blessing Flows out of a Kingdom Mindset.

  • Who do you know who has a present condition that needs you to speak words of blessing over them?

Is Anyone Listening- Palm Branches to Thorns

During these times where many things are unknown, it seems like we are in a hopeless situation.

SERMON THEME

Palm Sunday is also known as Passion Sunday. The beginning of Holy Week and Jesus’ final agonizing journey to His crucifixion. When Jesus rode a donkey into Jerusalem, it was as “King for a Day”. • Die to your “self will”

    • Receive resurrection power

March 21/22, 2020- Choosing Faith Over Fear How To Face Your Giants

During these times where many things are unknown, it seems like we are in a hopeless situation.

SERMON THEME

During these times where many things are unknown, it seems like we are in a hopeless situation. We are experiencing a divine reset, resetting our values to KINGDOM values.  Fear has four destructive steps. Fear causes us to: 1. Focus on our problems, 2. Expect only defeat, 3. Have an attitude of self-protection and 4. Reap the results of fear. We took a look at the famous account of David and Goliath to learn about fear vs. faith.

SCRIPTURES

1 Samuel 17 (NLT); James 3:3-5

Discuss and Reflect - 5 Things David Did That We Need To Do

  • He ignored the negativity of others (his brothers and other leaders).

  • He faced his Goliath head on.

  • He reminded himself of the faithfulness of God.

  • He ran TO the battle, not FROM it.

  • He proclaimed that GOD was his source of strength.

PRAYER POINT / DECLARATION

We decree a move of intercession across California! God’s people are humbling themselves praying, seeking His face, turning from their wicked ways and He is hearing from heaven and healing our land.

If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

We decree there is a remnant of God’s people in California being filled with God’s glory! This remnant will activate a release of the word of God throughout this state and the entire nation.

And the remnant who have escaped of the house of Judah Shall again take root downward, And bear fruit upward.

Isaiah 37:31 (NKJV)

Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. 2 For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the LORD will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you. Isaiah 60:1-2 (NKJV)

But the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing. James 1:25 (ESV)

The Lord Is A Strong Tower

SERMON THEME

Fear seeks to paralyze, but we have to guard our hearts and be careful what you feed upon. God has always raised up a deliverer. He is raising up the church. Today we talk about how to respond.

SCRIPTURES

Psalm 91:1-3, 9-12, 14; Psalm 33:11; Proverbs 18:10

DISCUSS AND REFLECT

  • God has not given us a spirit of fear. (2 Timothy 1:7)

  • We put our trust in the name of the Lord (Psalm 20:7)

  • We walk by faith, not by fear. (Philippians 2:9-10)

  • Pray (Philippians 4:6)

PRAYER POINT / DECLARATION

We decree a move of intercession across California! God’s people are humbling themselves praying, seeking His face, turning from their wicked ways and He is hearing from heaven and healing our land.

If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

2 Chronicles 7:14 (NKJV)
