What We See
In the next 3 years Liberty Church will establish 5 missional campuses and 30 missional communities within a 20-mile radius of Fairfield. It is our strong conviction that the gospel believed is the gospel lived! We believe that the gospel brings awareness to the needs going on around us and that it is our responsibility to mend what has been broken. The cities of Solano County have become a spiritually dry, barren land where the core human needs of value, identity and acceptance have greatly diminished. Broken families, poverty and overall feelings of hopelessness have led to high crime rates, escalated high school dropout rates, and racial and economic disparity in our communities. There has never been a more pivotal time for followers of Jesus to rise up!
What’s Our Plan?
Establishing 5 missional campuses and 30 missional communities will catalyze a kingdom movement of God’s love and hope that replenishes relational connections through gospel transformation. By specifically targeting the individuals, families, and neighborhoods in this region our goal is to quench their thirst for hope, healing, purpose and belonging in their local communities. As a multicultural church we can partner with our cities to bring harmony to racial discord, break cycles of poverty, reverse the erosion of the family, and even revive struggling businesses.
This involves everyone! We will equip those who call Liberty Church their home church to establish relationships, share the gospel, serve people, and quench their thirst for hope, value, and identity with the living water of Jesus everywhere we live, work, and play. Together we aim to initiate at least 8,000 God Conversations annually with people who do not know Jesus or who are no longer in regular fellowship with a local church. Imagine 8,000 God Conversations turning the light on in the darkest corners of our region; sharing God’s love through our words and actions; 8,000 God Conversations planting seeds of hope and freedom that grow and reveal truth that radically changes people’s lives and their communities forever.
God’s Heartbeat
God’s dream for our world is different than the condition the world is right now. It is God’s heart that all people be reconciled to Him. Hear God’s heartbeat through his words spoken to the prophet Isaiah: “When the time’s ripe, I answer you. When victory’s due, I help you. I form you and use you to reconnect the people with me, To put the land in order, to resettle families on the ruined properties. I tell prisoners, ‘Come on out. You’re free!’ and those huddled in fear, ‘It’s all right. It’s safe now.’ There’ll be food stands along all the roads, picnics on all the hills—Nobody hungry, nobody thirsty, shade from the sun, shelter from the wind, For the Compassionate One guides them, takes them to the best springs. I’ll make all my mountains into roads, turn them into a superhighway. Look: These coming from far countries, and those, out of the north, These streaming in from the west, and those from all the way down the Nile!” Isaiah 49:8-12 (MSG) Partner With Us We are crazy enough to believe that we can bring back the days of borrowing a cup of sugar from our neighbor, where strangers become friends and friends become family. We know that together we can create the communities in which we long to raise our children! Why not be a region where Jesus really is the answer? Why not be a region where Christ’s love and power are consistently displayed and experienced; where Jesus is loved and lifted up and many are drawn to Him? Why not be a region where people are transformed by His presence? Why not? We are bringing hope, restoring families, and transforming communities for the glory of God!
