Dancing With God, Run Your Race
Isaiah 64:4 (NKJV)
We Decree as we wait upon you, Our Father, You act on behalf of the church in California.
For since the beginning of the world Men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, Nor has the eye seen any God besides You, Who acts for the one who waits for Him.
SERMON THEME
When dancing, the leader’s responsibility is to set the pattern. The follower has to be in tune with the leader. As believers, we need to understand that we have spiritual senses as well as natural senses and we need to learn how to develop our spiritual senses.
SCRIPTURES
Ezekiel 3:1-3; Psalms 34:8; Luke 8:43-46; 2 Corinthians 2:14; Mark 5; Esther 4 & 5;
1 Peter 4:10; Acts 22:9; Acts 20:22-24; Matthew 4:19
DISCUSS AND REFLECT
Give 3 reasons why a Christian should endure hardship?
What is the key to endurance and finishing your race?
Explain why I need to be active part of a local church according to 1 Peter 4:10 and Hebrews 10: 24-25
PRAYER POINT / DECLARATION

Dancing With God
The version of the gospel that we hear these days: if you give your life to Jesus, you will have a trouble free life (no opposition, no hindrances).
SERMON THEME
The version of the gospel that we hear these days: if you give your life to Jesus, you will have a trouble-free life (no opposition, no hindrances). The current of the culture is opposite of how we are called to live. We need to go against the current to fulfill the purpose of God in our lives. The enemy doesn’t fight when he “has you”. When you say yes to God, the battle begins. Pastor Richard shares reflections of “necessary detours” that occur when dancing with God.
SCRIPTURES
Hebrews 12:1-3 (NLT); 2 Timothy 2:3-5; Romans 8:11; Acts 20:24
DISCUSS AND REFLECT
You are fighting for a reason. Find out what that reason is, and don’t take your eyes off the prize!
How is Jesus our example of how to run OUR race, according to Hebrews 12:1-3?
Think about a time when Holy Spirit attempted to guide you, resulting in a “necessary detour”. What were some signs that He was trying to guide you? Did you heed?
PRAYER POINT
The church would go out and make disciples. 'And Jesus came and said to them, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, '
Matthew 28:18-19 ESV

Keep In Step
Holy Spirit is on the move…
SERMON THEME
Pastor Sam gave a word in the 8 am service that breakthrough is “in you” personally. Holy Spirit is on the move so we want to talk about falling in line with what Holy Spirit is doing. Holy Spirit wants to live in you. Will you stay in step with Him? Much like ballroom dancing, we must learn how to keep in step with Holy Spirit.
SCRIPTURES
Galatians 5:25 (whole chapter is important); Acts 1:8; Colossians 1:16; Colossians 3:1-3
DISCUSS AND REFLECT
· Where is the Spirit’s dance floor (where is He moving)?
· We often wonder how to defeat our sinful nature. It’s by keeping in step with the Spirit. How can we practically keep in step?
· Where is your Jerusalem? Where is your Judea?
PRAYER POINT
Pray for boldness to go out and preach the gospel with accompanying miraculous signs.
'And he said to them, “As you go into all the world preach openly the wonderful news of the gospel to the entire human race! Whoever believes the good news and is baptized will be saved, and whoever does not believe the good news will be condemned. And these miracle signs will accompany those who believe: They will drive out demons in the power of my name. They will speak in tongues. They will be supernaturally protected from snakes and from drinking anything poisonous. And they will lay hands on the sick and heal them.”
Mark 16:15-18 TPT
